John Deehan a.k.a Dooks is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from the North East of England. He specialises in characterful illustrations, bold designs and expressive typography.
He studied at Northumbria University where he achieved a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design for his Final Major Project; a 200+ page reimagining of the forgotten children’s book ‘Rebecca’s World’ by Terry Nation.
He lives in Newcastle upon Tyne and spends most of his time designing, illustrating, reading books, feeding his goldfish and listening to new-wave alternate funk music from the 1980s.
